This site is currently the home of a set of projects focused on exploring two inter-related interests:
First is a grandiose vision for a new commons based on distributed web applications running atop a decentralized, peer-to-peer network.
Second is to experiment with new ways to author content and collaboratively create and disseminate knowledge.
Projects include:
- Rhizome Rhizome is a Wiki-like content management and delivery system that exposes the entire site -- content, structure, and metadata as editable RDF.
- Rx4RDF is a set of technologies designed to make W3C's RDF more accessible and easier to use.
- ZML is an alternative syntax for XML whose goal is to be a human-friendly markup language: simple, clear, and concise.
